Sunday Morning Adult Forum: Exciting Topics and Intriguing Conversation

Adult Forum is at 9:40 am every Sunday in the Fellowship Room.

Such discussions as "Opening the Book of Faith", an introduction to the Book of Faith Initiative which we will begin next fall.

The Book of Faith Initiative of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America invites the whole church to become more fluent in the first language of faith, the language of Scriture, in order that we might live into our caling as a people renewed, enlivened and empowered by the Word.

Sundays between worship services at 9:40 AM we meet in the Fellowship room with topics ranging from Bible Study to the Discussion of Challenging Issues to Presentations on Current Topics. Please see our current schedule below. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in!

Join us between services for a presentation by Kristin Mathews. See pictures of Cam Ly’s house, hear about her reunion with her family and learn about the medical mission for burn victims. God is at work.!

“The Women in Matthew’s Genealogy”

This class, led by Pastor Selbo, takes a look at how the four women mentioned in Matthew chapter one, played a role in God’s plan by making the Davidic line to Christ a reality. These women represent the Good News that God’s Old Testament promise to Israel has now spread to the Gentile world and a New Covenant is made through Christ.We will study and discuss the stories of Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba.The class will culminate by looking at the story of Mary, the mother of our Lord.
