VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2008 FINISHED ON JUNE 27TH WITH AN OUTSTANDING YEAR OF ATTENDENCE AND EXCITEMENT. IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE, WE WILL HAVE A LINK REFLECTING THE PHOTOS OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEK.

Sunday Morning Adult Forum: Exciting Topics and Intriguing Conversation
Adult Forum is at 9:40 am every Sunday in the Fellowship Room.
Such discussions as "Opening the Book of Faith", an introduction to the Book of Faith Initiative which we will begin next fall.
The Book of Faith Initiative of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America invites the whole church to become more fluent in the first language of faith, the language of Scriture, in order that we might live into our caling as a people renewed, enlivened and empowered by the Word.

Confirmation at Living Water
Every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. the 7th and 8th graders gather for Confirmation in the Christian Education Building. We currently have 14 young people involved. Curriculum includes learning the story of the Bible, centering on the person and work of Jesus Christ, and the Small Catechism of Martin Luther.

The Women’s Study Group, Tuesday’s @ Ten, meets every Tuesday morning at 10:00am in the fellowship room. No “pre-study” is needed and new faces are always welcome. Paula Sturgeon facilitates this group. |

We have a faithful group of men who gather each Tuesday morning at 6:30 at the Village Inn Restaurant on Scottsdale Road (just north of Bell Road). Great food, great fellowship, and great discussion centering on the Gospel text for the coming Sunday all make for a great way to start your day on Tuesday. All men of the congregation are welcome and encouraged to attend. |
