Worship

prayer.jpgWe are committed to vibrant, grace centered worship.

All that we do at Living Water flows out of our worshipping community and worship experience. At worship we believe that we come face to face with the living God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, through Word and Sacrament.
We believe that God has created each one of us with a need in our heart that finds its satisfaction and nourishment in times of vital, meaningful worship.

Worship is the primary time when the growing family of faith at Living Water gathers to honor God through praise and song, to seek God’s guidance for daily life through God’s Word, to hear the announcement that we are loved and forgiven children of God, and to be challenged and strengthened by Word and Sacrament to put our faith into action through lives filled with loving service.

Worship is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

Many times Jesus promises us that following him is not easy.  He calls us to take up our heavy crosses.  Yet, today, Jesus says that his burden is light and his yoke is easy.  Can these seemingly exclusive promises both be true?  Yes, for the burdens Jesus calls us to bear become light precisely because he promises to carry them together with us.

Martin Luther says, "Sin Boldly!"  But if we keep on reading we find that we are to "Trust More Boldly!"

While it is important to be life long learners, today Jesus commissions and sends us to do the very work he himself did.  Today we become not just disciples, but also apostles.
