The purpose of this meeting is to call for a vote of approval for the Senior Pastor Candidate presented by the Call Committee and unanimously approved by the Church Council.

a Fundraiser for Paula Sturgeon
Thanks to the generosity of many we have raised a total of $8,250
plus $7,000 from Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church in Sun City
and matching funds of $5,000 from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
for a total of $20,250!!
Thank you to everyone for making this fundraiser such a huge success!

The forum opened with a prayer by Pastor Brian. Key elements of the prayer included:
·Thanks for the leaders and work completed in this transition process.
·Request to bless the journey of the congregation.
·Special prayer for the Call Committee to find the right candidate for the church.
·Request to help us all to be faithful in prayer.
·Inspire us and guide us as the fall programs begin.
·Bless our conversation as we gather in your name.
